Meet Tammy Connors, Assistant Controller at Optima Office. She provides a wide range of accounting support. This spans from financial statement compilation — including journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses — to higher-level services like cash flow forecasting and budgeting. She also analyzes processes to identify efficiency improvements and coordinates with tax professionals, auditors, and other external parties.
Before joining Optima Office, Tammy ran her own consulting practice. She served software development firms, nonprofits, and tech startups. She also brings private industry experience as both Accounting Manager and Controller in healthcare and software development. Tammy began her career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, serving clients including SDG&E and Children’s Hospital of San Diego.
She has been a CPA since 1989 and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.
