As an Assistant Controller at Optima Office, Tammy provides a broad range of accounting and financial management services to her clients. Her expertise includes financial statement preparation, journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, process improvement, and coordinating with tax professionals, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
Prior to joining Optima Office, Tammy owned and operated her own consulting practice, where she provided accounting support to a diverse client base, including software development firms, nonprofit organizations, and technology start-ups. She also brings extensive private industry experience, having served as both an Accounting Manager and Controller for healthcare and software development organizations.
Tammy began her accounting career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche, where she worked with clients including SDG&E and Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1989.
Tammy graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
