As an Assistant Controller at Optima Office, Tammy provides a wide range of accounting support to her clients, spanning from compiling financial statement (with preparation of supporting journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses) to higher level services such as cash flow forecasting, budgeting, analyzing processes and procedures to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, and coordinating with tax professional, auditors, and other external parties.

Prior to joining Optima Office, Tammy had her own consulting practice, providing accounting support services to various clients, including software development firms, non-profit organizations, and tech start-ups. Tammy also has private industry experience, serving as Accounting Manager and Controller within accounting departments of healthcare and software development organizations. Tammy’s accounting career originally started in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche, serving clients such as SDG&E and Children’s Hospital of San Diego.

She has been a CPA since 1989 and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.
