Morton is a highly committed, seasoned accounting and financial professional with over 25 years of progressive experience. He graduated from Emory University, Atlanta, GA with a BBA in Accounting and Finance. After graduation he worked 4 years with a nationally recognized Public Accounting Firm located in New Jersey, where he audited a wide range of industries (manufacturing, retail, printing, software), business models, and organizations.
Morton and his family moved to San Diego 25 years ago. He is experienced working with and for all levels of management. In addition to being team-oriented with strong mentoring and motivational skills, he is comfortable with day-to-day accounting functions, month and year-end close, preparation of Financial Statements, internal controls, cash flow management, budgets and variance analysis, and manufacturing operations. He has worked closely with outside payroll, banking, legal and tax return preparation firms. As a result of his varied experience, his knowledge supports strategies for cost reductions and business growth.
